A moderate to brisk-paced walk through some of the best scenery in the Chilterns. Quite undulating with lots of ups and downs along the Chilterns escarpment with great views. The route is on well-trodden paths that may be uneven after the dry weather, or muddy after heavy rain.
Bring a picnic (there are no cafe or pub stops at lunchtime), but time permitting there may be refreshment and WC stops at pubs in Little Gaddesden and before the end in Albury.
Take the 10.24 train from Euston and buy a return to Tring. Over 60 Travelcard holders should buy a return from Bushey to Tring.
Finishing time stated is an estimate only and will be dependent on a number of factors such as weather, the speed of the group and number and lengths of breaks taken.
