Walk Description: A really lovely linear walk taking in the best of Stirling and Bridge of Allan while avoiding busy roads as much as possible. We’ll follow quiet paths around the base of Stirling Castle, visit Govan Hill, follow to Stirling Bridge and then climb Abbey Craig through woodland to the Wallace Monument. From there we’ll continue through Hermitage Woods into the University of Stirling grounds for a scenic lochside wander.
We drop into Bridge of Allan where the walk ends. Expect great views, varied terrain and plenty of green space throughout.

Public Transport: we will take 9:08 am train from Queen street station (meet in front of the ticket office 15 minutes before departure). The train arrives at 9:37 am in Stirling. Please note that the return journey is from Bridge of Allan. Purchase a return ticket to Bridge of Allan.
