Rail Strike - alternate walk accessible by tube added

A walk from Goring and Streatley station initially along the Ridgeway and then onto the Berkshire Downs for lunch at Aldworth returning via lanes to The Holies National Trust downland at Streatley and back to Goring and Streatley Station. A gradual ascent in the morning but a couple of steepish slopes in the afternoon.
GWR train from Paddington departs 0938, Slough 0953, Maidenhead 1002, arriving Goring and Streatley at 1036. Lunch will be at The Bell in Aldworth a delightful pub which has a limited menu but which serves good value sandwiches
