Overview

This walk is a gem, a real discovery.  It goes through the Swainswick Valley north of Bath, before climbing up onto Solsbury Hill.  The views throughout are outstanding and there is human interest in terms of villages, churches and graves of the rich and famous.  In Bailbrook, for example, we find not only a ‘listed’ tin church but also a former licenced tea and coffee house.
