This is a short, but very varied countryside walk around Faulkland. We walk out to Knoll Farm, and then across to Hassage via Knoll Wood. Down to Mount Pleasant and then along a pretty beck to Tucker's Grave Bottom. The pub here immortalised by 'The Stranglers', in their 2004 album. Potential here for a coffee, but i cannot guarantee that the cafe will be open. On a quiet road to Charlton Farm and back along the ridge to Faulkland. Delightful views and plenty of interest in the way of wildlife, especially at this time of year. Being February, it is possible that this walk will be a bit muddy in places, but I have tried to avoid as much as possible. A walking pole would be very sensible, or walking Wellingtons if you possess such a thing.
We will stop for a drink and a snack near Tucker's Grave, whether the cafe is open or not, and there is a very nice pub at Faulkland at the end of the walk.
