Overview

We will walk along the Kennet & Avon canal past Burbage Wharf and on to Wootton Rivers.  Here we will visit St Andrew's church to learn about Jack Spratt the "scrap heap clock maker" and to view the clock that he made to celebrate the coronation of King George V in 1911.  We will continue on through the village and up to Mud Lane to find the mysterious Green Man carving.  We return to Burbage via Crooks Copse, Ram Alley, Westcourt and Eastcourt.  There should be a good display of Snowdrops in and around Wootton Rivers.

Please bring supplies for 2 stops.  Walking poles recommended as it may be muddy in places.
