Overview

A walk from the edge of Warminster to the centre of Frome, returning by bus. This time to the south of the A362.  We set off at a slightly earlier time, walking via Kings Bottom, Longhedge, Dertford's Wood, Timber Hill and Elliott's Green. A mixture of quiet roads, fields and woods. We enter Frome on footpaths through Keyford, and end at the Market Square. We should arrive around 12.30, leaving plenty of time to catch the 13.10 bus or the 14.10 bus back to the cars. Frome has interesting shops and good cafes. Have a coffee or lunch or get some last minute Christmas shopping.  The bus drops us back right next to the cars.  We'll stop for a snack.
