Overview

From The Walnut Tree pub in Aldington, go down Forge Hill and New Road Hill; turn left into Boat Lane at the bottom of the hill towards Dymchurch; continue along this road, passing turnings on the right and then on the left. Led by the Wild is on the right after about 200 metres – look for the signs and the car park through the gate way. The walk climbs through woods to reach Aldington Knoll then follows the Saxon Shore Way along the ridge overlooking Romney Marsh and with views towards France to reach the hamlet of Court at Street. From here we head northwards to Harringe Lane to then cross farmland to Aldington and then descend back to the start through woods. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink.
