Lyminge Forest
Lyminge Forest 6.3 miles Leisurely with a few slopes and a few stiles.
Meet in the Forestry Commission free car park at Westwood (height restriction).
The car park is on the minor road between Six Mile Garage, Stone Street and the Lord Whisky tea-room at the crossroads outside Rhodes Minnis.
This is a circular walk via Gate Lane, Park House, Hawes Farm, Upper Park Gate, Elham Park Wood, Hatch Farm, High Minnis and Park Wood.
We will stop along the way for a short break, so please bring your own snack and drink if you wish.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome but please note, there may be some livestock en route and there is some road walking. You may have to lift dogs over styles.
Estimated finish time 13.30 to 14.00.
