We will be meeting in Yalding Station carpark at 10am to catch the 10.11am train to the start of the walk at Maidstone West Station. Parking is free and the train fare is £5.40 (£3.55 with a Railcard)
The walk itself is a 7.8-mile linear walk following the Medway upriver back to Yalding, with a lunch stop half way at Teston Country Park, where there is a kiosk serving drinks & snacks plus a picnic area for those that bring their own food.
The walk should take 3.5-4 hours including the break for lunch.
