A Winter Walk from Godden Green

Winter Walks offer different scenery and challenges to the other seasons. This walk will be familiar to many on the walk, but hopefully it will present the landscape in a different but attractive way.

The walk starts from Godden Green and we make our way though woodland before entering Knole Park. Once in the park we make our way to Knole House from where we follow the Greensand Way out of the park, across Carters Hill until we reach Wilmott Hill, where we drop down to Budds Green before making our way up through woods to Shipbourne Church. 

From Shipbourne Church we make our way across the Fairlawn Estate to Ightam Mote for our picnic lunch (drinks and food are available). After lunch we make our way through Broadhoath Wood until we meet a road, where we turn west and make our way back to the start.
