Keeping our network of paths clear of overgrown vegetation so people can easily access local routes requires a helping hand from time to time - and this is where Hexham Ramblers steps in!
We train volunteers to use power tools, such as strimmers (in accordance with health and safety protocols for the county council and Ramblers) and organise vegetation clearance days in conjunction with the county council and local farmers.
We have worked in Catton, Hexham, and Allendale - if you'd like to join us in this important work, please get in touch with John R. our team leader via the e-mail link above.
