Overview

From our start point we will walk across the top of the crag and drop down onto the lane. From here, we follow the lane and turn off down a track after passing  stables. After crossing a few fields we drop down to a small lake and  footbridge across Gill Beck. After which, we walk up through the wood to emerge in a field. Once again,we cross a numberof fields before reaching the village of Hawksworth. After crossing the road, we follow fields and tracks into Menston. Unfortunately, from here there's a bit of road walking before we can turn off onto the moor. Once on the moor, we follow the tracks to Bingley Road, then across Baildon Moor back to Baildon.

If you follow the road from Hawksworth village the car park is on the moor, on the left just before you reach Baildon. If you come into Baildon, from the Shipley side, take the road out onto Baildon Moor (Hawksworth Road). The car park is about a quarter of a mile outside the village on the right.
