From the Kippax Bowling Green and Tennis Courts CarPark we will take a tour of Kippax Meadows and then follow Mary Pannal footpath through Allerton Bywater and into the St Aidans RSPB Nature Reserve. We will turn left and follow the bridleway around the small lake back up to the Visitor Centre where we will stop for a picnic lunch. After lunch we will follow a series of footpaths back through Great Preston making our way back to Kippax and the car park. You will be most welcome to join your walk leader for tea/coffee/drinks and biscuits in his garden just around the corner from the car park.
The Bowling Green and Tennis Courts Car Park is located on Brigshaw Lane in Kippax.
From Leeds via Cross Gates and Garforth No.163 bus stops at the bottom of Butt Hill which leads to Brigshaw Lane and is approximately 100 yards from the bowling green and tennis courts car park.
Some of the footpaths will be muddy if weather has been wet.
