Overview

From Embsay we make our way over the fields to reach the village of Eastby, a short road walk then takes us to Bark Lane which we follow across several fields until we reach Billy Bobs Farm, which is a childrens adventure playground. From here we have a long road walk of about a mile until we reach Hesketh Farm,( which is another childrens adventure playground), at which point we turn off and head over the fields , cross the A59 Skipton Road and into Bolton Abbey railway station. We then have a steady climb up towards Haw Pike before taking the path just below the summit to cross several large fields ,then onto a a narrow lane and into the village of Draughton. We continue on through the village and make our way across the fields to re-cross the A59 road and head back into the village of Eastby and then back along the road into Embsay .A lunch break will be made at a convenient spot along the way.
