BOOKABLE - The National Forest Way Stage 5, Normanton le Heath to Ashby-de-la-Zouch

This is the fifth of a series of walks which will cover the 75 mile National Forest Way.  This figure of eight walk goes South from the historic market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, through Packington and Springfield Wood to Normanton le Heath.  Here we will pick up The National Forest Way where Stage 4 left off and follow it all the way through Ashby to Alistair's Wood before returning to the start.  Mainly field paths, farm tracks, quiet lanes with some road walking through Ashby town centre.  It could be muddy in places after rain.
