Overview

This walk is Bookable, please email the walk leader.

A steep climb out of Baslow up to Baslow Edge. The route then levels off heading north  past the Eagle Rock and continuing along the Edges, Curbar and Froggatt. All along the 3 Edges there will be views across the Derwent Valley. We’ll descend to Grindleford Station where we’ll pick up the river side footpath back to Baslow. On the way we’ll pass through the village of Calver. No stiles. One crossing of a stream on stepping stones, some road walking on minor roads and the crossing of roads where great care needs to be taken.
