An 8 mile varied walk through Jumbles Country Park, via Turton Bottoms and above Redisher Nature reserve, to bring us into Ramsbottom to enjoy Ramsbottom Come Together Festival.
This is a moderate walk, but with some fairly challenging uphill climbs and one steep descent.
We also have a short uphill section walking along an edge above woods with a steep incline to our right. There are lovely cobbled paths, muddy paths, fields and some road walking. There are steps, bridges and about 10 stiles which are well maintained.

We go out from Victoria train station by train and return journey is on the Red Express X41 from Ramsbottom to Shudehill bus station in Manchester City centre

Party shoes in your bag as you will need walking boots! And maybe a pole? Definitely a hat - it was windy on top.
