We are the Mid Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The route follows paths & tracks from Calne to the Bowood Estate crossing the lake onward to Derry Hill. Crossing the A4 we go via Studley, walking on a minor road, to the old Calne to Chippenham railway line, following this back to Calne. Generally easy walking. There may be a couple of stiles but mostly gates. Maybe muddy in places if wet. One refreshment stop.
