Overview

A walk through typically undulating Howardian Hills landscape along bridleways, quiet lanes, woodland and open pasture to Scackleton returning via Dalby and pausing to look at the ancient grass cutting of the City of Troy. 

On a clear day there are far reaching views to the NY Moors, Yorkshire Wolds & Vale of York.

Walk poles useful in a couple of short sections where there is undergrowth/ uneven terrain. Small boggy area at Dalby Bush Farm where there is also a handful of cattle grazing. No stiles.

Parking area on the right hand grass verge just after the horse rider sign and before the City of Troy  located on Bonnygate Lane, east of Brandsby on the Dalby/ Terrington road.
