We are the Tavistock Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Walk across moorland towards Leighbeer, down to the River Meavy and along the West Devon Way towards Yelverton before heading back by Drakes Trail.
May be muddy after rain. Couple of stiles. Bring a warm drink for our coffee stop. Dogs on lead.

Car park above Clearbrook by the leat and Drake’s Trail. As the main car park has large pot holes we’ll meet at the smaller car park nearby. Coming from the A386 towards Clearbrook, when you get to where Drake’s Trail meets the road at a small bridge, cross the bridge and immediately turn right onto a smaller road where you’ll quickly see the alternative car park where we will meet.
