Overview

From Lopwell Dam car park we ascend through woods around the top of the Maristow estate and then follow the road to Blaxton Wood and follow the Tavy back to the start. Thanks to Heien and Jenny who have both led a similar walk in the past.

Some tracks through woods which may be muddy and some road walking. Final part of the walk through Blaxton Wood is along the path close to the river’s edge. There will be a stop for coffee/tea and the chance to meet afterwards at either Long Ash garden centre or Yelverton for drinks/lunch.
