An immediate climb up towards Yar Tor but turn north to Sherwell. Here we follow an ancient route to West Shallowford and Jordan. We join the Two Moors Way to Pontsworthy (can be very wet and muddy) and then follow roads and tracks to Spitchwick Manor. Lunch by the River Dart returning above the Dart Valley on Dr Blackall's Drive and Sharp Tor.
This is a wonderfully varied and interesting walk - one of Favourite.
