Meet at Danby Village Hall. Walk N via Methodist Chapel and continue up the hill, turning left to go downhill to Park Wood. We take the upper path in the wood, before walking along the Box Hall Track towards Commondale. We take a right turn uphill through fields to follow a trod and the road to White Cross, where we cross the main road and follow a wide track E. We then turn South to follow the track via Siss Cross to return to Danby.
The walk is mainly on good tracks which are stony in places. There is some moorland walking at the end of the walk along narrow paths downhill. The paths may be muddy, but there are no stiles.

Parking at Danby village hall- I’ll check we have spaces beforehand  (for a voluntary contribution), or considerate road side parking in the village.
