A scenic autumn walk through forestry and across open moorland, with the possibility of some fine views... there is plenty of scope to adapt to weather conditions though.
There will be rough forestry tracks and some rugged moorland terrain, which may be boggy after rain. The walk does not entail any big climbs, but is graded as strenuous because of terrain and pace.
Start: Parking is on the left side of the approach road to Dolygaer Activity Centre (before the road continues over the dam)
Walkers are asked to carry In Case of Emergency information, this might be on a card, key fob or on their smartphone.
