Starting at 10.30 at the lower end of Primley Park Road, Alwoodley for this 6mile walk we immediately cross Moortown Golf course and emerge onto Alwoodley Lane. We turn left here walking just short of half mile and then turning right onto Goodrick Lane, alongside Sand Moor Golf club (they play a lot of golf in Leeds!) We then follow the designated pathway clockwise around Eccup reservoir and along Eccup Moor Road. It was pretty muddy in places on recce day so please be prepared! Once round the reservoir we head back to our starting place.
Street parking on Primley Park Road post code: LS17 7LH. No. 36 bus runs every ten minutes from Leeds - stops on Harrogate Road.

As the walk is relatively short we may have a quick break along route. Post walk please feel free to join us at Cafe 17 which is a two minute drive up to Nursery Lane LS177HW. Street parking - (though the Co-op is next door if you want to shop!)
