We are the Cleveland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Circular walk approx 6. Assistance dogs only.
We will walk along the dismantled railway track and a short section of road to Hutton Gate before turning to join the Cleveland Way with good views of Hutton Hall. Entering the woods we’ll walk easterly along low level, muddy paths to join Butt Lane. We cross the busy Whitby Road to join Cleveland Street and on into Guisborough passing The Priory and St Nicholas Church along the way.
There will be a ten minute break. Please feel free to bring a drink/snack to enjoy.
Note- there is minimal ascent and descent and a few stiles. Some sections can be particularly muddy and slippery in wet weather.
Turn at traffic lights on Rectory Lane onto Spring Wood Road. Car park on the right off Hill View Road no fee payable on a Sunday.
