We are the Tavistock Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A lovely five mile walk along Harrowbeer Down and following footpaths down to the pretty village of Buckland Monachorum. Then along quiet lanes and tracks up to Berra Tor before returning over the Down with spectacular views across Dartmoor.
Mostly on footpaths and easy open moorland. Several stiles and lots of mud. Small ford crossing. Bring a drink and snack.

Turn off the A386 over the cattle grid at the Yelverton end of Horrabridge signed to Long Ash. At the top of the hill, turn right at the junction known as Pound Corner. Continue on to the Long Ash Garden Centre and park in the car park on the right.
