We explore the quiet backwater of the Naddle Valley with views over Swindale and Haweswater. We traverse the boggy beauty of Hawsewater Nature Reserve and the Naddle Forest, finding several Birketts including Powley's Hill, Hare Shaw and Rowantreethwaite (Brown Howe).
