Overview

Field paths, moorland and forest tracks. Follow along the valley of the River Seph from Newgate Plantation to Laskill Farm. The route then crosses the Helmsley to Stokesley Road going through Low Wood up onto Laskill Pasture Moor. Returning through Roppa Wood, up Rievaulx Bank to Ayton Bank along the edge of Rievaulx Moor. There is small rocky stream to cross in Low Wood. 

There are 6/7 stiles along the route, and 1027 ft of ascent
