Overview

A "gentle" stroll across the Caldbeck Fells starting from Fellside before the New Year's cheer! A steady gradient then gains us High Pike. Should northern winds too rudely chill the soul, Lingy Hut offers refuge.  From here we will attempt to a dry route round Miller Moss ("that treacherous, boggy ground" so says AI) to Knott. The decent will be over Little Sca & Brae Fell with a hopefull cross of Dale Beck.
