Overview

Today's walk is part of Ramblers' collaboration with the YHA Festival of Walking.

From the YHA at the Sill, we head along Hadrian's Wall via Hotbank Crags and Housesteads to King's Wicket.  We return on the northern side of the wall, crossing the Pennine Way via Peatrigg, with magnificent views of the Whin Sill. A free cup of tea or coffee awaits you at the YHA hostel after the walk - and cake is on offer too!

Please note: the first half of the walk is along Hadrian's Wall itself and includes several very steep ascents and descents. You will need sturdy footwear. If this is your first walk with Hexham Ramblers, please let the walk leaders know when you book so that they can advise you what to bring.
