We are the Mid Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From the village of Urchfont the walk climbs up a steep path to Salisbury Plain. We will then walk along the plain road with lovely views over to Pewsey Vale and on a clear day you can see 2 of Wiltshire’s white horses. We descend to the village of Eastcott where we will follow tracks and woodland paths to Oakfrith Woods and from there back to the school. No stiles or livestock
We will have one refreshment stop, probably at Oakfrith Wood where there are benches to sit on.
You must book with the leader in the week preceding. Text preferred. You are not confirmed until you get a reply. Dogs are at the leader's discretion.
Park in the layby outside Urchfont Primary School, Cuckoo Corner. There are plenty of parking spaces but if it is full, please park considerately on the road side back into the village by the pond.
