Overview

We welcome everyone to join us for a walk across rolling fields and through woodland from Walkern to Bennington. From Walkern recreation ground we will follow the river Beane  then walk up through High Wood, out of  the  Beane valley to Bennington.  Passing Bennington Lordship, we can look out for snowdrops. From Bennington we will walk along Duck Lane and past Walkern Hall then back to Walkern across fields with far reaching views. In Walkern we walk past the church and then alongside the river Beane, back to the start.
