Moderately paced walk through landscape typical of the Kent Weald with woods, fields, orchards and Oast Houses. The route offers us a glimpse of the River Medway as we leave Yalding, following the Greensand Way to Roydon Hall and St. Michael’s Church before reaching the attractive village of East Peckham. Continuing on the Greensand Way after lunch we enter an orchard, before ascending Gower Hill and Mereworth Woods on the Wealdway footpath, leaving the path to head to Borough Green
Gently undulating terrain with a steady ascent to Gower Hill and a steeper but short incline as we approach Borough Green.
