Overview

Walking from Edingley we follow the Beck onto a section of the Southwell Trail but then leave the trail to head off through Hexgreave Hall Estate, crossing the A617 we go onto Dukes Wood for our lunch stop which is the site of Britain's first commercial on-shore oil field, then we return via Kirklington.

Gentle hills, some good paths but can be muddy in some areas especially through the woods.

PLEASE NOTE:  There is a tricky crossing of the A617 and extreme care is needed.

If you would like to join this walk please contact the Leader using the email link. Numbers are limited to 20.
