A six mile circular walk within the beautiful Idle Valley Nature Reserve that consists of 375 hectares of lakes, wetland, grassland and scrub. The walk uses a designated bridleway that incorporates riverside and lakeside views. There may be muddy patches in places if there has been a lot of rain.
On the planning visit all the gates could be opened and there was no need to climb any stiles.

In anticipation of a beautiful summers day please bring plenty of water, a sun hat and sunscreen.
Please bring coffee and a snack. The walk should be completed by lunchtime. For those who wish to we can have a drink and bite to eat at the end of the walk at the Visitors Centre.
