Overview

A fairly flat walk, we go around the perimeter of the park and back to the courtyard (toilets). We then loop around to the river and along Derwent Valley Heritage Way to Ambaston, back towards Thulston and the Country Park. There is one flight of steps (51 steps).

Car Park charge is £7 all day (or £4.50 for 4 hours).  Estimated 35 minutes driving time from West Bridgford. 

The cafe in the castle is open until 4:30pm and there are toilets in the courtyard.
