Overview

West Mendip Walkers summer moderate 9.5 mile walk from The Blue Bowl near West Harptree  (BS40 6HJ).  After a very short walk on the road we pick up the Roman road and crossing the A368 we head up and across open fields to head towards Compton Woods from here we follow the Yeo Valley Trail and The Sidings to Ubley Village. We then make our way to Breach Hill and descend to Villas Lane and Compton Martin and back through open fields. Dog friendly. This walk has a few gentle climbs with a fine view of Chew Lake.
