Overview

Join me, Mark Underwood, for an afternoon of live music & book chat at The Betsey Trotwood, 56 Farringdon Rd, EC1R 3BL.

I'll be interviewing crime writer extraordinaire, broadcaster, tv writer, actor, musician & former stand up comedian, Mark Billingham. Mark will be talking about his terrific new Tom Thorne crime novel, ‘What The Night Brings'.

The author interview will be followed by a Q&A, book signing, & then live music from one of the UK's finest singer-songwriters, Michael Weston King.

You must purchase your own ticket, which are available at: https://wegottickets.com/event/673238

I can meet you at the entrance to the venue from 3pm (event starts at 4pm). Tickets may be available on the day if it isn't sold out beforehand.

Mark Billingham's novels have sold over six million copies worldwide. He has written 19 novels in the Tom Thorne series & two novels featuring Detective Miller. Mark has twice won the Theakston Old Peculiar Award for Crime Novel of the Year, & also won a Sherlock Award for the Best Detective created by a British writer. His novels, 'Sleepyhead' & 'Scaredy Cat' were made into a hit tv series on Sky 1 starring David Morrissey as Thorne, & a series based on the novels 'In The Dark' & 'Time of Death' was broadcast on BBC1.

Mark has presented & featured in several programmes on BBC Radio 4 & BBC Radio 4 Extra. He is an occasional member of the Fun Lovin' Crime Writers, a supergroup of crime fiction writers who play music.
