Overview

Starting from Aberford we will walk along field paths through a part of what was the Parlington Estate. We will make our way along Aberford Main Street and take Lotherton Lane to the Lotherton Hall Country Park where we will stop for lunch/picnic at the Counrtyard Cafe where drinks/snacks can be purchased. Toilets are available.

After our lunch break we will walk through the Park and via field paths through Hook Moor Wind Farm and back into Aberford.

There is street parking on the left hand side of the road travelling into Aberford from the south (B1217). I suggest we park in the designated parking lane in front of the Priory Park with the War Memorial just across the road.
