Overview

A walk with extensive views on the fringe edge of Dartmoor. Burnicombe, Heltor, Blackingstone Rock, Kennick Reservoir, Middle Hole, Bridford, Lower Lowton and return. This is a moderate walk using quiet lanes, footpaths, and bridlepaths with one steep ascent and some short ups and downs. There are fine views from Heltor and Blackingstone Rock and from the lanes we will walk. The route can be wet and muddy in places.
