Overview

The walk will look at the stone crosses in Widecombe, the parish church and churchyard, the Grave of Beatrice Chase, Southcombe Hill (which is quite steep), Two crosses, Wind Tor, Two Moors Way, and return using the Kingshead footpath, on which there are three stiles, one of which is a ladder stile, followed by a steep descent.

We will probably visit a pub/café after the walk.

Please book with John Howell for the walk and state if interested in food after the walk.

In association with Dartmoor Preservation Association.
