Following tracks across open moorland, we ascend to the summit of Great Nodden with its fine views across Dartmoor and the surrounding countryside, continuing to Sourton Tors and then descending to Sourton churchyard with its medieval labyrinth path. After lunch, we leave the moor behind and return along the Dartmoor Way to Lyford village and back to the car park.
