Overview

Follows Dart Valley Way and John Musgrave Heritage Trail to Ashprington via Sharpham. The Dart meanders through the valley but the path remains clear of mud as it is on higher ground but affords breathtaking views. We discover the oddly shaped Steam Packet Inn, enter Baltic Wharf, on to Sharpham and the ‘Manor of Aisbertona’ (Domesday Book) with 12th century S. David’s Church. Return via Dart Valley Way, to occupy sculptural seating.

Bring coffee and lunch!

Catch 9.05am train from Exeter St Thomas or the 9.26am train from St David’s, arrives Totnes 10.03 - off peak Day Return with Senior Rail card is £6.45 or park at Victoria St CP near The Plains.
