Overview

An excellent spring walk in a quiet dale.

Leaving the bike hub we follow the VERY quiet lane most of the way to Lealholm with a brief trip into a wood through which the River Esk flows.

From Lealholm we cross fields and railway to eventually climb up above Crag Wood with excellent views of the dale.
