Overview

Walking along the peaceful Basingstoke canal past flights of locks on flat paths and under ancient bridges. Just two short sets of steps near bridges. We will stop for a break at Woking, which is also a drop out point after about 5 miles.

Lunch: Bring picnic and drinks, but there are also places to buy drinks and snacks in Woking. There will be time to visit the Lightbox gallery (free admission to cafe, shop and some galleries).

Train: London Waterloo 10:12; Clapham Junction 10:19; Arr Brookwood 10:54. Buy return to Brookwood. (Please check train times nearer the date)
