Overview

This walk visits the remaining parts of London's Roman Wall, the locations of the six gates to the city and the amphitheatre. It follows or crosses the Roman roads to Colchester, York, Wroxeter, Silchester, Chichester and Dover.

The leader will also provide details of churches and other buildings in which Roman artefacts can be seen, but we will not enter them during the walk.

There are many drop-out points, including leaving at Monument near the end of the walk for a circular walk.
