Overview

This walk links the churches referred to in the nursery rhyme "Oranges and lemons", with a focus not on the churches but on the varied parks, plazas and back streets of Inner London seen en route, through Stepney, Whitechapel, Shoreditch, the City, Fleet Street, Aldwych and Covent Garden.

Inner London is largely flat, but we cross a number of potentially busy roads.

The finish time will depend on how often, and long, we stop en route, and the final section through Covent Garden may be crowded, but there are many opportunities to opt out in the later stages of the route.
