Southbrook Farm, Wilford Bridge, Knowle, Slade Cross, Shap Tor, Lower Bowden, Furzeleigh Cross and return. The walk uses footpaths and quiet lanes. There is an ascent through the woods to Shap Tor, another of Dartmoor’s Tors on the fringe. If you ascend to the top, not advised in wet conditions, you will get fine views of the Bovey Valley above the top of the trees.
